MOBILE GENERATOR DOCKING STATION
Overview
ALLY successfully installed a new emergency diesel generator and supporting electrical infrastructure to provide reliable backup power for the facility, including two new automatic transfer switches, new electrical panels, and upgraded distribution equipment. The project involved excavation, concrete foundations, structural steel, conduit installation, and interior architectural modifications while coordinating more than 25 phased electrical panel shutdowns over eight months to maintain facility operations. When an unforeseen structural challenge required a new conduit support solution, the team collaborated with engineers to design and construct a structural steel tower, keeping the project on track. ALLY also led the planning and execution of a complex 16-hour facility-wide utility shutdown, developing a detailed method of procedure and coordinating five subcontractors to complete critical work safely and efficiently. Through proactive planning, close collaboration, and disciplined execution, the project was completed with no disruption to facility operations and a successful outcome for the client.
