Project outfitted an unused auxiliary storage space and a portion of an active loading dock to house the Grind2Energy food processing table and 3,000 gallon
holding tank. Utilized for the cafeteria staff, the GrindEnergy system discharges food scraps/ slurry into natural gas energy via an offsite processing plant. The team overcame challenge of an existing condition by creating an alternate discharge manifold detail to allow for the disposal pump trunk to gain access of the reserve tank. Received client and supplier praise over the clean and proper installation of this system.
